Dr. Dunn is an environmental scientist with eight years of experience in experimental design, laboratory analyses and field
data collection relating to physical, chemical and biological processes within estuarine and coastal environments. Ryan has
been involved in numerous hydrological and sample collection programs investigating seasonal and event driven variations in
trace metal, pesticide, nutrient and hydrocarbon concentrations using a variety of approaches. Additionally, Dr Dunn has been
involved in the assessment of ship sourced pollution. More recently, Ryan has been involved in model predictions and impact
assessment studies relating to hypothetical oil spills in addition to investigating the ecological consequences of large scale
suspended sediment plumes within nearshore and offshore waters.
