Mr Scott Langtry has wide experience meeting the numerical modelling requirements of the Offshore Oil and Gas Industry and coastal developers. Mr Langtry has formal training and some 17 years experience in the design and conduct of biological and physical sampling programs, with a focus on environmental impact assessment. Mr Langtry's past work experience includes scientific posts in the field of marine ecology with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Organisation (CSIRO), and NSW Environmental Protection Agency. Mr Langtry worked as Environmental Scientist for Apache Energy, an oil exploration and production company, where he carried out environmental assessments and associated field and modelling work, including development of the quantitative exposure assessment methodology that is now widely used and accepted in Australia. Since 1998, Mr Langtry has consulted to many oil & gas industry companies and other coastal and offshore industries, and has wide experience with numerical modelling for all potential discharges.
