Dr. Zigic specializes in the application of numerical models to investigate water circulation and pollutant transport for marine and freshwater environment world wide. Dr Zigic has been with Asia-Pacific ASA Pty Ltd since 1998. and during his tenure he has participated and managed a wide range of environmental, engineering and safety projects, including: environmental impact assessments for proposed or existing marine infrastructure; sediment and solute discharges; water quality affects; oil and chemical contingency planning; guidance during search and rescue emergency responses; and expert witness reports for the Australian federal government. He is proficient in teaching ASA software and is an on call specialist adviser and trainer to the Australian, Thai, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japanese governments for their national spill response systems.
