Dr. Li has a broad engineering and scientific background, including experiences in water resources engineering, bioremediation and biodegradation of hydrocarbon pollutants, and oil spill chemical countermeasure science and technology. He is a registered professional engineer in environmental engineering. His expertise in oil spill chemical, physical and biological processes contribute to the development of next generation of oil spill fate, transport and impact assessment models.
