ASA Seattle was founded and is led by CJ Beegle-Krause, Ph.D. who recently joined ASA from NOAA to focus on building the Seattle office. CJ is interested in environmental decision support and wants to bring ASA's modeling and visualization innovations into new areas, expanding further from oil and chemical spills into ecological, resource management and restoration issues.
The Pacific Northwest, Alaska and California are states whose citizens greatly value their beautiful settings, abundant natural resources, and way of life. Combining access to data with well founded predictive tools with help those responsible for these resources to make wise choices toward the future, as we meet challenges of climate change, balancing environmental and commercial interests and moving society forward. ASA is well positioned to support these types of issues and clients on the West Coast, as they do on the East Coast.
